A small group of our residents from the men’s sober house went on a climb recently to the top of Torreys Peak. This is a popular 14er in Colorado. A 14er is a mountain peak over 14,000 feet, and they are popular among local hikers and climbers. Colorado has 53 14ers. Torreys Peak is close to Loveland and one of the more popular 14ers.
The trip illustrates one of the reasons why Colorado is an awesome destination for people who want to spend some time in a sober living house and get the feel for live without drugs and alcohol. Living in Colorado is an opportunity to experience some of the beautiful places in the world.
Getting The Feel For Life
Getting the feel for life means going out and doing things that are exciting, challenging, and uplifting. There is no place better to reconnect with yourself than in nature. Fresh air, fun activities, challenges abound. Outdoor activities can help you turn your life into a life worth living.
Colorado excels at giving you the opportunity to enjoy exhilarating activities in one of the most beautiful places in the world: the Rocky Mountains. There are great outdoor activities available all year around: skiing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountaineering, climbing, and more. Not only that, if you like the outdoors, you can join conservation groups and other organizations that help keep the Rocky Mountains an awesome destination.
The Roadmap To Adventure
The challenge is really just to do it. The challenge is to get up and explore the world you live in. Let’s take a look at this trip, and some of the fantastic pictures that the guys took. The picture to the right shows the trail. It starts in the valley and goes up past Grays Peak and onto Torrys Peak.
When you are climbing up a mountain, the top always seems to be a little closer than it is. It is when you start walking that you realize how far and high you need to go.
